Frequently Asked Questions
What is your photographic style?
My photography style is Journalistic with Traditional Shots. My goal is to give you fun creative beautiful shots of you and your party and a journalistic view of the rest of your wedding.
Are you the actual day-of photographer?
I AM the actual day-of photographer. I do have a wonderful assistant who is also very good who helps me get all the shots I miss.
Do you shoot in black and white?
I shoot my photography with a Digital SLR. Which means all the photos are shot in Color and I can change them during Post Production to black and white. You will get an additional CD that has all your photos in High Resolution Black and White format.
Will you have other weddings that weekend?
I only book 2 weddings a month and one wedding per weekend. This way I don't get overworked and that way you will have a happy excited photographer for your wedding.
Can we get negatives or digital negatives?
You will receive one digital copy of all the images in High Resolution format, Web Format and High Resolution Black & White - which allows you to print anywhere.
Will your equipment take up space?
For the most part all our equipment is attached to us when taking photos. We will bring in a small tripod and small flash for your reception photos if its okay.
What do you do in case of emergencies?
I always carry a backup camera with me on my right shoulder. My assistant also has a camera that she carries with her.. If there is ever an emergency where I cannot make the wedding at all i will be more then happy to refund you the full deposit and refer you to another photographer.
Can I see the photos of my entire wedding?
You will receive one digital copy of all the images in high resolution format which allows you to print anywhere. With the exception of a few that we delete during post production due to duplicates or blurriness.
How much is overtime?
If asked to do overtime during the wedding, it is an additional $100/hr. But if its just a few minutes over our original time limit - no worries. :)
How are you dressed?
We dress in semiformal outfits that are dark in color. This way we don't stand out obtrusively in the crowd. We STAY away from bright colors like yellow, white, red, greens... stuff like that can be a distraction. We also try to wear comfortable shoes since we are on our feet the entire time.
